⚡⚡ No crane? No problem. A PPR field report from Tim Lish, who was on hand to oversee this beautiful Virginia Transformer Corp delivery in Hot Springs, Montana.
This transformer delivery called for a jack-and-slide technique, carefully lifting the transformer and moving it along rails into its final position. The process isn't exactly fast, but with two days of steady work from this excellent Veteran Crane, Nimble Crane, and Utility Engineering crews, the transformer was in place, and the mission was accomplished.
Just another example of the field coordination and problem-solving it takes to keep projects moving.
