Powerful video from the 15th Wing, capturing the extraordinary collaboration that takes place across the utility industry when communities need help most. Incredible work by Southern California Edison (SCE), Kauaʻi Island Utility Cooperative, the Hawaii National Guard, the 15th Wing, and many others. Following Hurricane Lowell, aircrews, service members, lineworkers, public servants, and utility partners worked together to transport SCE crews and utility trucks to Kauaʻi aboard a Hickam-based C-17. The aircraft and trucks may catch the eye, but people who care made this response possible. At Pacific Power Reps, we’re proud to serve partners across California and Hawaiʻi, and grateful for the people who demonstrate what hope looks like in action.
To the people of Kauaʻi: You are not alone. Mahalo to everyone who answered the call.
